Having prized vineyards in Chambolle-Musigny is not something the Taupenot family take lightly. They let the classic refinement of Pinot Noir from this terroir shine. Silky in texture, with lifted, floral aromatics, the tannins here are fine yet luxurious, reflecting the warmth of the 2022 vintage.

Based in Morey-St-Denis, Domaine Taupenot-Merme is run by 8th generation brother and sister, Romain and Virginie. The estate's 19 hectares of certified organic vineyards spread across 20 appellations, including 4 Grand Crus. The average vine age is 50 years old, and vineyards have been managed with organic practices since 2001. All grapes are de-stemmed, with 25% new oak used for the village wines and 40% for grand and premier cru. Romain and Virginie produce structured, self-assured Burgundy that distinctively express each vineyard and appellation.
