Brightly aromatic of peach, pear, fennel and citrus, this has a softness to the texture through the mid palate, but remains crisp, dry with a saline edge. All in all a really friendly bottle of white. Grenache Blanc is planted in similar Mediterranean climates to its more well known red counterpart, across Spain and the south of France.

Frontonio was founded in 2008 by Master of Wine Fernando Mora, viticulturist Mario López and winemaker Francisco Latasa, with the aim of revealing the extraordinary potential of old-vine Garnacha. Working with remote, high-altitude vineyards in Aragon, north east Spain, the team have championed organic farming and minimal-intervention winemaking to express site rather than technique.
