This is the pretty, charming side of orange wine. It's lifted in floral and stone fruit aromatics, with freshness and a touch of pithiness on the finish. Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris and Riesling were hand picked, destemmed and fermented on skins for 28 days.
Named after the hardy mountain goats that roam the hills of Central Otago, Nanny Goat was established in 2005 by winemaker Alan Peters-Oswald. Alan’s philosophy balances artistry and scientific discipline, leaning into natural ferments and minimal intervention. The estate is fully certified organic.
