Rougir is super aromatic with punchy raspberry and strawberry flavours. We'd call it a blush rather than a Rosé. The palate has weight but kept fresh by a little tannin grip on the finish. It was produced from a rolling ferment of certified organic Marlborough Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier and Pinot Noir.

In comparison to the rest of the world Aotearoa's wine industry is very young. So when you see second generation viticulturist's/Winemaker's coming to the fore it's very exciting for the industry. Harrison Eaton is a great example of this with his Melange label. The wines are modern and push the boundaries of wine styles as you would hope from a young producer. Yet Harrisons wine's show a real level of e

xperience and confidence which has obviously come from growing up on some of Marlborough best vineyards. The Melange wines are all wild fermented, un-fined and unfiltered.
