Forward and supple, the aromatics here of mandarin peel, apricot and chamomile lead to a juicy, fresh and pithy palate. Fruit was sourced from 2 Waipara vineyards and 1 Bank Peninsula vineyard. Pinot Gris was fermented on skins for 3 weeks, with 15% each of Riesling and Gewurztraminer blended in.
Matter of Time is a collaboration between James Opie of Bryterlater and David Collins of 15 Minute Bottles. The modern styles and easy drinking nature of these wines is underpinned by the serious experience and know-how of these two chaps.
