From the south west of France, this intriguing and complex red expresses the appellation of Minervois beautifully. A blend of Grenache from 60 year old vines and Carignan from 100 year old vines, it has a fragrance of garrigue, earth and wild dark berries. There's lovely sublety and grainy detail in the palate. Bois de Merveilles means the ‘woods of wonder’, refering to the way the vineyards are very much settled into the surrounding woodlands.
Jean-Baptiste and Charlotte Senat left their lives in Paris to move to the land of their families in Minervois, south west France. They were inspired by producers like Jules Chauvet, who pioneered the natural wine movement, and are committed to organic wine growing.
