Cask wine is back, but this time it’s less cringe, and more quality. This is supple, fruitful, creamy Chardonnay all with a softer environmental footprint. Vacuum sealed, it stays fresh and delicious for up to a month, and it’s super travel friendly for camping, the beach and barbecues.  

This 2 litre format is the equivalent of 2.65 bottles at $32 per bottle. There’s value in every drop, and we’ve especially enjoyed this served a little chilled.

Given the biggest emissions in winemaking (29%) come from glass bottle production, shipping and recycling, it’s definitely time to explore alternatives like this.

The Dicey brothers and their parents have been a part of Bannockburn’s landscape for some time now. From their 3 vineyards in this celebrated subregion of Central Otago they produce textural and lively expressions of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Chenin Blanc and Gamay. At times it might be dicey wine growing in the harsh conditions of Central Otago, but the quality here is anything but dicey.
