Finesse, fragrance and elegance, this is beautifully pure-fruited, but not without the fine, savoury tannic structure you’d expect of Martinborough Pinot Noir. It’s produced from 4 of the Ried’s small vineyards planted around the town, including the family's older Saleyard plantings with vines established in 1998.

You may recognise the name, as the Reid brothers have been craft distilling in Martinborough (Reid and Reid) since 2015. Chris Reid has extensive experience making Pinot Noir, working for the likes of Neudorf in Nelson, Amity in Oregon, Patrice Rion in Burgundy and Ata Rangi in Martinborough. Now with 4 small family owned vineyards totalling 2.2 hectares, Chris produces tiny quantities of his own outstanding Pinot Noir, from one of our most celebrated regions.
