Chemistry is a distinctive London Dry with juniper at its core, lifted by fresh citrus, Sichuan pepper, sage and a subtle coastal note from seaweed. At 44%, it’s full of flavour without being heavy, making a seriously good G&T but with enough character to stand up in a Martini or Negroni.

Chemistry Gin was created by medical biochemist Marie van Drimmelen and her partner Laura, who founded the Karori Drinks Company in Wellington. The recipe came together through Marie’s scientific approach to flavour, exploring how different botanicals work together at a molecular level. They also put plenty of thought into the bottle, using 100% post-consumer recycled glass, while $2 from every bottle sold supports women in STEM.
