A rich and expressive take on Spain’s signature Monastrell grape. Ripe blackberry and blueberry fruit with notes of violet, clove and dark chocolate lead to a palate that’s generous and supple, with a Mediterranean warmth. Fruit was sourced from organically farmed vineyards in Yecla, and the wine was aged for four months in oak barrels.

Bodegas Castaño is one of the leading producers in Yecla, Murcia, south-eastern Spain.
