From setting up a small wood‑fired brewery in 2009, brothers‑in‑law Craig Mackenzie and Nathan Cassels have grown Cassels into one of Aotearoa’s most respected independent breweries. Cassels Brewery began its journey at The Tannery in Woolston, Christchurch, blending classic brewing techniques with a modern Kiwi approach. Today, they continue to craft small-batch beers that are easy to enjoy yet full of character.
