Think you know Central Otago Pinot back to front? Think again. Not resting on their laurels, the team at Carrick have taken a single clone (115) from their home block, fermented it with wild yeast and 100% whole bunches, and bottled it without any additions. Intriguing, sweet red fruit is underpinned by smoke and spice with lovely, taut structure. 

Carrick is the full shebang in our books; wines produced from single-site, certified organic vineyards in one of the most beautiful wine growing regions in the world. Based in Bannockburn, Central Otago, winemaker Rosie Menzies and viticulturist Cliff Wickman head up the production of Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and of course Pinot Noir. From a recent visit, we sense this already excellent producer is going from strength to strength.
