Wrekin Vineyard fruit was Handpicked, whole bunch pressed, wild yeast fermented and aged on gross lees for 15 months with regular lees stirring building a richer mouthfeel.

Ashleigh Barrowman, mentored by industry legends like Patrick Sullivan, Hans Herzog and Domaine Labet, returned to Marlborough in 2020 to make wines of her own. Enamoured with the Wrekin Vineyard, she crafts distinct single-vineyard, single-varietal wines that epitomise their origins. Balancing vineyard and cellar work, Ashleigh's approach involves sourcing fruit from certified organic vineyards, handpicked grapes, wild fermentation, and minimal sulphites at bottling. The result is unfined, unfiltered wines that authentically express time and place.
