Alexandre Burgaud is based in Lantignié, to the west of the celebrated cru of Morgon in Beaujolais. His five hectare vineyard has an average vine age of 60 years, and production is growing with a leased vineyard in Brouilly. He shares an approach with his famed cousin Jean-Marc Burgaud, not destemming fruit and using concrete tanks for aging.
