There’s lots to love here - lifted aromatics, a juicy core of fruit in the palate, silky texture, and a finish that’s fresh and clean as a whistle. Rosie Finn of Neudorf sees “a natural harmony between Albariño and the Nelson region. The grape itself has a slightly thicker skin which can help to relieve disease pressure – making it a joy to grow in these ever changing climatic conditions. Nelson boasts the largest fishing port in Australasia, so having a wine destined to be served with local kia moana seems like a no-brainer”. 

Highly respected pioneers of New Zealand’s modern wine industry, Tim and Judy Finn of Neudorf first planted grapes on the clay soils of Nelson’s Moutere Hills in 1978. Their wines have become internationally recognised as some of New Zealand’s best.
