Bonete Raicilla Costa is a blend of 60% Angustifolia Haw and 40% Rhodacantha, These agave are roasted underground and then distilled twice in wooden stills carved from the sacred Oyamel tree, hence the front label. This Raicilla is savoury with olive brine aromas and smoky BBQ flavours.

It languished in relative obscurity for decades and was written off as Mexican moonshine, but raicilla has finally found its footing and now artisanal raicilla like this one rubs shoulders with tequilas and mezcals on bar menus across the globe.
