Superbly exotic and unctuous, this still maintains a racy freshness. There’s a beautiful development of anzac biscuit and toffee complexities with it’s time in bottle. Clos Windsbuhl is a historical Alsace vineyard, of limestone rich soils, that is higher in elevation than most vineyards in the region.  The Sélection de Grains Nobles classification is specific to Alsace, and requires the selection of only berries that have developed noble rot, as well as aging of the wine before release.

This is one of France’s most uncompromising and expressive estates. Led by the visionary Olivier Humbrecht, their vineyards are a patchwork of Alsace’s greatest terroirs, all farmed biodynamically. With low yields, and late harvesting, the wines lean towards richness, generosity and texture in style.
