This is a great example of dense, structured Bordeaux. It's dark fruited, with a little woody spice, and a robust, firm palate. We'd suggest giving this a decant before drinking if you can. Produced from estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot it was aged in oak barrels, 30% of which were new.
Dating back to 1924, this beautiful Médoc estate is situated between Margaux and Saint-Julien, on Bordeaux’s left bank. From 40 hectares of vineyards, owner Philippe Austruy, winemaker Bertrand Chemin and their team grow and craft classic Bordeaux styles from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot.
