Gavi is known as the Chablis of Italy, because of the freshness of the wines, and also their vinification without the use of oak. This Gavi delivers exactly that, with driven mineral freshness. The fruit comes from estate vineyards, grown on the limestone hillsides of the classic Gavi zone in Piedmont.
Across four generations the Bergaglio family has been a leading light in the production of Gavi. From their 12 hectares of vineyards, planted exclusively with the Cortese grape, they seek to express a sense of place, making wines of purity and minerality.
