Expressive and juicy, this has hedonistic aromatics of ripe red fruit and cherry cola. The palate is supple and dry. Produced from mostly Pinot Noir, with a pinch of Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon, it was hand picked, wild yeast fermented and aged in barrique. Wellington-based artist Spencer Hall created the label, in an ongoing series that tells the tale of Frankenstein and Francesca.

Dedicated to making wine without additives, all hand-picked from organic North Canterbury vineyards, Silver Wing was established by Andrew Fox in 2010. From two vineyards, planted with Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Semillon and Chardonnay, Andrew’s unfined, unfiltered North Canterbury expressions are playful, flavoursome and textural.
