Chenin Blanc is remarkable in the versatility of styles it can be crafted into. This time it shines in the form of a skin contact white from Swartland, South Africa. Organically grown fruit from 50 year old vines was fermented for 8 days on skins and aged for a further 4 months in large format oak. It’s vibrant and fresh with orange peel, ginger and floral flavours, and lovely front palate texture. 

Testalonga are taking the new world by storm. Situated in the Swartland region of South Africa, right on the southwest tip and just north of Cape Town in a province called the Western Cape, Testalonga have been making wine since 2008 and are highly regarded as the pioneers of skin contact winemaking in South Africa. Organic farming was a non negotiable from the very beginning for winemakers Craig and Cara Hawkins. As they simply state on their labels, Testalonga wines are "Made from Grapes" only.
