From the foothills of the Dolomites in northern Italy, Riff is part of the wider Alois Lageder family, long known for thoughtful farming and a light touch in the cellar. The fruit here is organically grown, fermented cool in stainless steel, and kept entirely in tank to preserve its freshness and drinkability.
The Alois Lageder estate has been in the same family for six generations, based in Magrè at the foothills of the Dolomites. Fine tuning their craft over the years, the Lageder family now have 55 hectares of their own vineyards, and source fruit from a further 85 hectares in the region. All the vineyards are certified organic and biodynamic, and range in altitude from 200 to 1000 metres above sea level.
