With a fresh take on the Alsatian tradition of blending, Les Encuves Rouge combines Pinot Noir, Gewürztraminer, and Auxerrois into a supple, savoury red, built on bright, crunchy red fruit with notes of fresh raspberry, sour cherry, and wild herbs. Lively acidity keeps it approachable and food‑friendly. It can also be enjoyed slightly chilled.

Established in 1708, Charles Frey took over this small estate in the north east of France from his father in 1958. Charles' sons have since converted the vineyards to biodynamic practices, and now the grandchildren are involved.
