A tangle of varieties yes - Pinot Gris, Viognier, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc - but it comes together so harmoniously. It's vibrant in aromatics, all stonefruit, lemon curd and melon, with gentle textural weight and a fresh and tangy finish.
Huia are committed to working in harmony with the environment, using organic and biodynamic practices. Started by Claire and Mike Allan, planting at their Wairau Valley site in the early ‘90’s, vine age adds to the complexity and balance of the excellent wines produce there.
