The flavours are a harmonious combination of stonefruit, citrus, toasted nuts and wet stone. The palate fronts with a generosity in texture, melded over a long and energetic line of acidity. A blend of two vineyards, one in the Tuki Tuki Valley, the other in Bridge Pa, Chris and Laura’s ‘grand cuvée’ is among this country’s best Chardonnays.

With over 20 years at the helm at Church Road, and many accolades and excellent wines to show for it, Chris Scott has an intricate understanding, and love of Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay. When we heard through the grapevine that he and wife Laura were releasing their own label, we knew these wines would be something special. Coming from Chris’ pick of the region's best Chardonnay vineyards, they certainly do not disappoint.
