From a region that's famous for its stonefruit, this is suitably forward in those aromatics. It's Chardonnay that flows nicely in the palate, with a rich density, silky texture and fresh acidity. Hand picked, estate grown fruit from 5 parcels was fermented in mostly seasoned oak and aged for 10 months.
Carrick is the full shebang in our books; wines produced from single-site, certified organic vineyards in one of the most beautiful wine growing regions in the world. Based in Bannockburn, Central Otago, winemaker Rosie Menzies and viticulturist Cliff Wickman head up the production of excellent Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and of course Pinot Noir.
