Ata Rangi Célèbre 2021

$50.00

A celebration indeed, of a long, dry Autumn. Perfect conditions for ripening Syrah and Merlot, with a little Malbec and Cabernet Franc to boot. Abundant in flavour, succulent and lengthy, this tastes celebratory.

Pioneers of Aotearoa-grown Pinot Noir and of the Martinborough wine region, Ata Rangi remain one of our best. The estate was established and is owned by Clive Paton, Phyll Pattie and Alison Paton, with winemaking in the hands of the brilliant Helen Masters. Basically, the wines are shit-hot. The Pinots in particular. They’re wines of detail, complexity and intrigue and they age beautifully. The Home vineyard is certified organic, with more on the way.
