It’s worth sitting over this one for a couple hours we reckon. As well as ripe cherry and dark berry aromatics, the earthy, savoury complexities open up with time. The palate is precise but firm, exhibiting the structure we’ve come to love of Marlborough Pinot from the clay Southern Valleys. Hand harvested fruit was destemmed, wild yeast fermented and aged in French oak for 14 months. 

Dan Sorrell fell in love with wine in the south of France, having left behind a corporate career in London. He came to Marlborough via Western Australia where he gained some awesome winemaking experience in Margaret River. His wines come from small, organic vineyards and are pure fruited and sophisticated.
