Proving what joy single varietal Cabernet Franc can be, this is supple, richly fruited and poised. It has aromatics of bright red cherry and darker berries, with a hint of earth. Hand harvest, organically grown fruit was wild fermented with whole clusters and pumped over daily. After just 10 days on skins, it was pressed and left unadorned, without oak, to let the fruit purity shine through.

Lo-Fi is a project by two lifelong friends, Mike Roth and Craic Winchester. From organic Santa Barbara vineyards, the duo make wines that derive the same pleasure as the clicks, pops and hiss of playing their favourite records. The wines are always made with wild years, minimal added sulphur and neutral, if any, oak.
