This is just the kind of Grenache predominant red that floats our boat. Unforced and fragrant, it exhibits both refined structure and a sense of the untamed countryside from where it’s grown. While it’s bright fruited, there’s also an undertone of wild herbs and spice. The tannin is fine and persistent. Old vine Grenache (80%) is blended with Carignan and Mourvedre, all grown organically on clay-limestone soils.
