Made in the highlands of Oaxaca from Espadín agave, Don Amado Rústico is rustic in method and a textbook traditional mezcal with real depth. Roasted in underground stone pits and distilled in clay pot stills, it delivers an earthy, smoky intensity balanced by layers of roasted agave, dried herbs, and citrus peel. Full-flavoured yet clean on the palate.

Don Amado is made by the Arellanes family in Santa Catarina Minas, a region famed for its traditional clay pot distillation. With over a century of mezcal-making behind them, the family stays true to local methods—underground roasting, small-batch fermentation, and slow, careful distillation.
