All of Cabernet Franc's charm is on show here. Dark stone fruit with a raspberry lift and a leafy, smokey edge. It's velvety to taste, with a foody chew to it. Chinon in the Loire Valley is one of our favourite places for Franc, and this is not exception. Hand picked fruit 30 to 50 year old vines is fermented and aged in stainless steel to maintain purity of fruit. 

Odile Manceau’s family once owned Domaine du Noiré in the Loire Valley appellation of Chinon. When the opportunity arose to repurchase the estate in 2001, she and her husband, Oenologist Jean-Max jumped at the chance. And they have definitely reinvigorated it, gaining organic certification, and producing wines of real purity and detail.
