Part of a series of Mezcal's that Del Maguey produce with the aim of encompassing a single village. The village here is Chichicapa, north east of Oxaca it is 2000 metres in elevation. Entirely made from the Espadín variety of agave which is then naturally fermented and twice distilled. Classic smokey roasted aromas that Mezcal is synonyms for leap out of the glass followed by tropical fruit notes. Generous weight and texture upfront a with a straw Carmel finish. 

Del Maguey have been a massive force in changing the way the world see's Mezcal.  Changing the perception that Mezcal is second rate to tequila and actually is a greater expression of agave and Provenance.
