Margaret River produces consistently outstanding Chardonnay, and we’d go as far to say that this is one of the region's best. With complex aromatics of beeswax, soft cheese and a hint of coastal air, it’s beautifully polished with a core of fresh acidity that will ensure its potential for ageing. We love the Vasse Felix team’s description of this as being satisfyingly ‘al dente’. Made with organically grown fruit from selected parcels of Gingin clone Chardonnay, it’s wild fermented and aged in French oak barriques, 56% of which are new. It goes through full malolactic fermentation.

Their commitment to excellence is ongoing, at the moment converting over 300 hectares of vineyards to certified organic production.
