Beautifully concentrated, chiselled and lengthy, this is a blend of three premier cru St Aubin sites, Les Perrieres, Les Combes and Les Creots, from vines of at least 30 years old. The cuvée is named after Pierre-Yves’ grandmother who died in 2016. From a hot and dry year of good yields, harvest began in August. Pierre-Yves describes the balance of the wines from this vintage as “simply magnificent. I find them very sincere and the terroirs are marked.”

In a pretty short space of time Pierre-Yves and Caroline Colin-Moley have gained cult status for their expressions of white Burgundy. It’s worth noting that they both come from centuries-old wine families. Pierre-Yves is the eldest son of Marc Colin, and Caroline is the eldest daughter of Jean-Marc Morey. A typically Burgundian set of circumstances. 

In leaving their respective family domaines, they both took with them their small share of amazing Cote du Beaune vineyards, and have not at all put them to waste.
