Drink more Riesling. There we said it (... I think we've said it a few times before) but seriously, this wine shows Rieslings versatility and why we love the grape so much. This is a bright, lifted Rizza with florals, lychee, and a citrusy, tonicy finish. With 24 hours skin-contact, there's a moorish weight and texture to the wine.  Fruit comes from Mount Edward's Pisa vineyard in Central Otago.

Ben Leen is no stranger to winemaking and no stranger to Central Otago where Alpine was born. Having made wine with the team at Amisfield for years now, Ben is stepping out on his own with Alpine wine co. His wines are fun, energetic and absolutely delicious. It's evident there is a real commitment to his craft as Alpine produce small quantities, hand picks and sources organic fruit from Central Otago for each of his releases.
