Light with lifted, sweet red fruit aromatics - strawberry and just-ripe cherry - this is fresh and crunchy to taste. Named after Lucie and Brook's children, Mathilde and Madeleine, it does indeed have a youthful, bright energy. The 3 varieties that the Lawrence's grow, Pinot Noir, Riesling and Chardonnay, are cofermented on skins for 4 weeks. It's bottled without fining, filtration or any additions.

Lucie and Brook Lawrence lovingly and organically farm 1.5 hectares in Lowburn, across the road from Burn Cottage in Central Otago. Having run Aurum Estate previously they’re well entrenched in the region. The small size of the vineyard allows them a truly hands on approach.
