Puglian Primitivo in a rich, sweetly fruited, full bodied form. The warm southern Italian sun is palpable here, with its dark berried fruit, spice and dense, silky palate. Doppio Passo is a term that comes from football, meaning double pass. The fruit is picked in 2 passes through the vineyard; the first at optimal ripeness, the second around a month later, bringing generously ripe flavours. 

Started by the Botter family in 1928, Doppio Passo produce wine in the Veneto, Puglia and Sicily.
