As well as being the kind of supple, easy drinking you expect from Beaujolais-Village, this has a dark fruit profile with hints of meaty and brambly aromatics. The fruit comes from steep slopes near Quincié, grown on granitic soils. It has no added sulphites, is organically grown, and bottled without fining or filtration.

Albert Bichot is a family run producer in their 6th generation. They own estates and run a negociant business across both Burgundy and Beaujolais. Since the 2000s the family have been committed to converting their vineyards to organic practices.
