Agrapart & Fils 7 Crus Extra Brut NV

$145.00

90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir form the backbone to one of the most vibrantly characterful Champagnes we have had in a while. Its enticingly super fresh palate with lemon curd flavours keep you revisiting. Les 7 Crus, referring to the seven Côte des Blancs villages from which it is sourced, four Grand Cru vineyards Avize , Cramant, Oger, Oiry, two Premier Cru vineyard Avenay Val d'Or, Coligny and vauciennes.

For a grower that produces less than 6000 cases a year it is remarkable that Agrapart Champagne is mentioned in the same breath as Egly Orier, Krug and Selosse. Pascal Agrapart is a grower at the top of his game. The village of Avize where Agrapart is located has always been special in Champagne and today, thanks to Agrapart and Selosse, it is at the heart of the great grower movement in Champagne. While he’s uninterested in being labelled organic or biodynamic, he works according to natural rhythms and sensibilities, without any chemical pesticides or herbicides. Pascal always ferments his wines with indigenous yeasts, which he feels is crucial to the expression of terroir.
