We love the texture and generousity of this Verdecchio. There's stonefruit, honey and floral aromatics, and the palate is round and creamy. From the Castelli di Jesi district in the Marche on the east coast of Italy, organic fruit, single vineyard fruit was fermented and aged on lees in concrete vats for 12 months, building all that texture. It was aged in bottle for another 6 months before release.
This third generation estate is a leading light in the region. It was started by master cooper Enrico Crognaletti, who passed onto his son Gino, a man dedicated to selecting the best clones of Verdicchio. Now his son Natalino is in charge and, along with biodynamic practices, brings his fresh energy to the estate’s production.
