Mont'Albano Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2022

$27.00

Italy’s second most planted grape variety, Montepuliciano is best known for being friendly, medium bodied drinking. This organic example is grown in the Abruzzo, on Italy’s east coast. It’s supple and full of straight up dark fruit flavours - plum and boysenberry. It’s the good value, easy drinking your pizza is asking for.

Mont’Albana was established in 1985 by Mauro Braidot in Friuli, in the north east corner of Italy. From the outset Braidot has been committed to organics, achieving certification in 1990. Now in the hands of the Sartori Group, wines are made from organic vineyards across Italy. They’re committed to sustainability. Smaller strategies like the use of lighter-weight glass, labels printed on recycled paper and environmentally friendly inks continue this commitment.
