Monmousseau San Sulphites Cremant de Loire NV

$36.00

Got Champagne tastes but a beer budget? Then this organic Crémant is just the ticket. It’s produced in the same method as Champagne, but made from hand harvested Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay grown in the Loire. Precise and dry, it has a little fruit weight and toastiness in the palate and a delightfully fresh finish. It’s bottled without any added sulphites.

Produced across France in regions like the Loire Valley, Burgundy, Alsace, Jura, Savoie and Bordeaux, Crémant is a style of sparkling wine. It’s made in the Champagne method, but with varieties local to each region and can offer serious bang for buck.

Based in Montrichard, Touraine, Monmousseau was founded in an old limestone quarry in the late 1800s by Alcide Monmousseau. His nephew Justin Marcel adopted old mate Dom Perignon’s method and success quickly followed.
