Hedonistically forward and ripe fruited, this has supple texture, vibrancy and satisfying, gentle tannic dryness. It's Pinot Noir, but the kind you might like to chill down a little. Organic fruit from Auntsfield's Raupo vineyard is wild fermented with a 12 day maceration, before pressing into seasoned French oak for 5 months. It's bottled without fining or filtration.

Harrison Eaton, son of Michael Eaton who established the famous Clayvin vineyard among others, applies youthful curiosity and enthusiasm to his craft. Harrison is unafraid of pushing the boundaries in terms of wine style. Yet the wines display a high level of experience and confidence, reflecting his upbringing among the vines in Marlborough. Made from organically grown fruit, Mélange wines are all wild fermented, unfined and unfiltered.
