Luzón Verde Monastrell 2020>>>

$26.00

What we love about this Monastrell (also known as Mourvèdre or Mataro), is that it’s friendly, generous in flavour, but not overbearing in size. It’s more in the red fruited spectrum - cherries with some florals. It’s medium bodied, smooth with a nice fresh finish.

Bodegas Luzón was established in the early 1800s in Jumilla (pronounced who-ME-ah), which is south east of Madrid, in a wide valley on the high plateau of La Mancha. Unusually for the times the estate was passed down through the females of the family. This tradition continued until the 1980s when the estate was sold. It now consisted of 400 hectares of organic and sustainably farmed vineyards.
