This is captivating Greek white wine. With aromatics of stone fruit, white flowers, spiced pear, oyster shell and honey, it has palate-forward, creamy texture and a steely, mineral finish. It's a blend of native, local varieties Vidiano and Thrapsathiri. These 10 to 100 year old vines are organically farmed in schist soils in the southern part of Crete. The wine is bottled without filtration or fining, with minimal added sulphites.

Iliana Malahin is one of the bright stars of Greece’s very exciting modern wine industry. Having studied agronomy and oenology, she turned her focus to reviving native varieties and old vineyards around the village of Malampes, in the mountainous south of Crete.
