This is energetic, bright in red fruit aromatics, and driven with a graphitey, linear palate. It's a triumph. It’s a blend of Lechinaro, Sangiovese and Uva Giulia that are biodynamically farmed, fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in cement tanks.

D.S. Bio was established in 2012 by Danilo Scenna in the district of Pescosolido, in the east of Lazio, the wider region around Rome. Set at 630 metres above sea level, Scenna’s vineyards are situated in small plots surrounded by oak forests and olive trees. Biodynamics, biodiversity and the use of local heritage varieties are the focus.
