We’ve said it before, Sauvignon Blanc is no one trick pony, and this one is a unique (and delicious) expression of the variety. With tropical and lemon meringue aromatics, it’s satisfyingly pithy and fresh. Fruit from the Good family vineyard is hand picked and gently pressed. After settling overnight and fermentation in barrel, the wine is aged on lees for 10 months. 

Nick Drake recorded an ethereal studio album in 1970 called Bryterlater. Ethereal too are James Opie’s Bryterlater releases from North Canterbury. Sourcing organic fruit from vineyards around the region, James produces wines that respect the varied nature of each growing season, and that are produced, as James says, “with patience in the vineyard and patience in the winery.”
