Nicosia Grillo 2021
This is a great example of native Sicilian variety Grillo. It’s a fruit bowl of aromatics, with a juicy, citrusy palate and the saline suggestion of the sea. Organically grown in the southeast of the island, fruit is fermented in stainless steel to retain freshness.
The Nicosia family have been producing wine in Sicily since the late 1800s. Still very much a family business today, the wines are a great expression of the unique and varied terroir of Mount Etna and the south east of Sicily.
