Eric Bordelet is the man who made the wine world think seriously about apples and cider. His cider graces the greatest wine lists in the world, and are an absolute benchmark. After his stellar career as Head Sommelier at 3 Michelin starred restaurant, L’Arpege in Paris, he moved back to his family orchard in Normandy. He was greatly encouraged and supported by Loire Valley legend, the late Didier Dagueneau. Bordelet has quickly made a name producing cider with the same considerations as wine, like terroir, variety, vintage and age. His fully certified biodynamic orchards of heirloom apple and pear varieties grow over a bedrock of schist and granite.
